Top 15 coins 4 years ago

Some people like to bash BTC and ETH, because coins like Luna, Solana, Avax have outperformed, but let's take a look at the top 15, 4 years ago on this exact date:</p> <ol> <li>Bitcoin (16000$) <strong><- New all time high</strong></li> <li>Ethereum (800$) <strong><-New all time high</strong></li> <li>Bitcoin Cash (3000$) <-Down bad</li> <li>XRP (1$) <-Actual stablecoin</li> <li>Litecoin (300$) <-Down</li> <li>IOTA (4$) <-Down bad</li> <li>Cardano (0.40$) <strong><-New all time high</strong>, not a stablecoin</li> <li>Dash (1200$) <-Down bad</li> <li>NEM (1$) <-Down bad</li> <li>Monero (400$) <-Down</li> <li>EOS (10$) <-Down bad</li> <li>Bitcoin Gold (300$) <-Down bad</li> <li>NEO (70$) <- Down bad</li> <li>Qtum (55$) <-Down bad</li> <li>Stellar (0.55$) <-Down</li> </ol> <p>Most of these coins you may recognize, and some are gone. But what's interesting is that: Monero, EOS, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, IOTA, Dash, ALL had a higher price/same price back then than they have now.</p> <p>Only BTC, Ethereum and Cardano are now above their 2017 price from 4 years ago, but the others are not. If you don't want to sell during this bull run, you need to have most of your money in BTC and ETH.</p> <p>And there are some coins that were in the top 100 back then and that have outperformed BTC and ETH. These coins are: Dogecoin, Binance coin and Decentraland.</p> <p>Almost all other coins you wouldn't even recognise or have underperformed BTC and ETH.
