Why CRO is just getting started and will likely explode in the next two years

As everyone knows, the native token of Crypto.com, CRO, pumped hard today after news of a partnership with AEG giving them the rights to rename the famous Staples Center of Los Angeles. This is a very good news for mainstream adoption : Crypto.com offers a slick UX, and it's a welcoming environement for every newcomer.

But in my opinion, CRO is just getting started. Why? Because they are positionning themselves to be at the forefront of the investment revolution underway.

Let me explain. You know that whales, not retails, move the markets. It's true in the stock market, and it's true in the crypto markets. Institutionnal investors (things like retirement funds, state-sponsored sovereign funds, etc.), in particular, are able to move markets with their actions. And more and more of these institutionnal investors are adhering to the Environmental, social and governance (ESG) concept. It truly is a revolution in investing : it means those big whales only buy assets that are clean, ethical, and have a positive impact on their communities.

Now, this is where it gets interesting : Crypto.com has announced that they will be carbon-negative before the end of 2022. This is huge. If they do this, then institutionnal investors could buy CRO tokens and still respect their commitment towards ESG.

Where I am from, for example, the state-sponsored sovereign fund can't buy any cryptocurrency, because they have to follow the ESG standards. But once a certain asset respect theses standards, they can start buying them.

Given the fact that Crypto.com is, by far, the fastest growing crypto platform right now, and that they will in all likelihood soon respect ESG standards, I believe that CRO is just getting started and that, at the end of 2022, we could see a lot of whales jumping in.

Best of luck to all!

submitted by /u/busterrulezzz
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
